What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)?

 

A Virtual Assistant (or VA) is an Administration Professional working as a Sole Trader under their own ABN (in Australia), to offer REMOTE ASSISTANCE to you and your business.

While Administration is the driving force of any business, with technology constantly changing and advancing, the days of having in house Administration is a thing of the past.  Instead of allocating desk space to Administration, you can now have everything done remotely, leaving more space in the office for revenue inducing staff members.

This is where a Virtual Assistant comes in.

Many VAs offer what is called a Niche service.  This is a specific area that they choose specialise in (but are not limited to).  You may find a lot of VAs do not work the standard 9 to 5 working hours as they tend to work flexible hours to work around family commitments etc.
